Our History

All thanks be to the Almighty God for His endless love, guidance and protection to us as Benvian family. Honestly, it has been God all the way. Our great love for children and God’s benevolence brought about the establishment of Benvian International High School in September 2015. Right from the onset, the school was privileged to be established at a permanent location, a serene and structurally appealing site situated at Plot 14 ECWA Staff Layout, Zaria Road, Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria.

Over the past years, Benvian International High School has evolved to become one of the fastest growing and most preferred private school for secondary education in the city of Jos owing largely to its provision of affordable quality education. Consequently, Our staff strength and learning facilities have over the year constantly been expanded too in order to cater for the need of a growing population of students. In January 2021, Benvian International High School upgraded from day school to become both day and boarding school following the completion of hostel facilities in December 2020.

Academically, the school has recorded a number of success within the short period of its establishment. We graduated our first set of students in the year 2020 with a good number of them recording success in their final examinations and proceeding to study at higher institutions of their choice.

Despite these achievements within our short period of establishment, we remain firm in upholding our motto of Shining the Light for Christ and in our vision to create a school that is known for academic excellence through hard work and to raise God fearing children that will make the best contribution to their immediate society and the world at large.
